Code of Ethics for Authors

Original Work

Manuscripts must be the author's own original, unpublished work. The same work must not be submitted to multiple journals at the same time.

Adherence to Ethical Protocols

Authors must secure appropriate clearances, such as Ethics Review Board approval and, where applicable, informed consent from human participants or permits for animal/floral studies[1].

Data Integrity and Accuracy

Data must be collected, analyzed, and reported honestly. Plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification is strictly prohibited[10].

Responsible Authorship

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript preparation, with their roles detailed within the paper.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors are required to disclose all potential conflicts of interest—financial, institutional, or personal—relevant to the work.

Confidentiality and Anonymity

Authors must protect the privacy and identities of research participants and handle sensitive institutional data responsibly.

Correction or Retraction

Authors must promptly notify the editor of any errors or ethical issues discovered post-publication and collaborate on corrections or retractions when necessary.

Subject Expertise

Reviewers must only accept assignments within their area of expertise.

Objectivity and Constructiveness

Reviews should be objective, constructive, and based solely on the manuscript's merit, without bias or personal interest.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers should not share, discuss, or use the information for personal advantage.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Any personal, professional, or financial conflicts must be disclosed to the editor, and the reviewer should decline the review if such conflicts exist.

Timeliness

Reviewers must complete reviews within the agreed timeframe or promptly notify the editor if unable to do so.

Editorial Responsibility

Editors are accountable for all content in the journal and must make decisions only based on academic merit.

Fair Review and Impartiality

Manuscripts are evaluated without regard to authors’ institutional affiliation, gender, ethnicity, or other non-academic factors.

Confidentiality

Editors must protect the confidentiality of all submitted materials and reviewer identities.

Handling Misconduct

Allegations of ethical breaches will be investigated fully, and appropriate action—including correction, retraction, or other measures—will be taken as necessary.

Institutional Responsibilities

Institutional researchers are expected to ensure that:

  • Studies involving human subjects comply with national and local research ethics regulations and standards.
  • Proper records of protocols, data, and approvals are maintained and made available for ethical review if required.
  • Findings are disseminated responsibly, accurately, and without any distortion or suppression of data.
